Endicott Park has so much beauty. There is so much to do and see. We have a vegetable garden there and love spending my days there. Wonderful walking trails, playground for the children, picnic areas. There is always something going on.
I have lived in the Danvers area for years and can't believe I have never been to this wonderful park. It has a few nature trails, great if you want to walk in the woods. We walked around the pond and through the marsh. There are signs on the trees to identify what kind they are, what a great way to learn. It does not cost money during the week and with all there is to offer I think the weekend price is reasonable. Great place for both adults and kids.
I travel through this park almost daily with my dogs. It's a perfect route to get them a little exercise. There is a pond that is available for them to cool off in. The dogs especially like the jogging trail around the park as well as the farm animals that live on the farm. Wildlife including Canada geese and great blue herons visit the pond. The geese are regulars and it's always a treat to watch them during nesting season hatching and raising their babies. There is also a lot of history surrounding the farm and the estate. The estate sits in the middle of the farm and is a perfect locale for weddings.
Tons to do here; trails, barns, ponds, playgrounds and right next to Glen Magna farms. Beautifully kept, also has a real bathroom. Could spend most of the day walking around exploring. Has sheep, horses and other barnyard animals. Good place for a photo shoot as well. Cost a few bucks to park.
Endicott Park in Danvers is a wonderful park, with play structures for children of varying ages. It also has a barn with animals that the children can pet and a large barn with rest room facilities. There is a walking trail and a pond with ducks. It is free for Danvers residents and a modest fee for non-residents.
One of my favorite parks on the North Shore. Has everything! Playground, barn animals, and close by the Glen Magna property with beautiful gardens. A ton of trails as well to explore!
