Always up for a good scare around Halloween, we headed out to Hysteria and it was well worth the trip. We opted for the combo, which seemed to be the best choice for the price. You are given a glow necklace (i.e. Here I am, scary people, come get me!!!) and sent off into the corn fields. The attendants allowed a good amount of time between groups being sent out, so you didn't know what was hiding around the corner, allowing us to be totally surprised when someone jumped out at us. Trails weaved through the corn maze and and through the woods, which made for a entirely creepy feel even when we weren't being startled and chased by chainsaw wielding actors. The actors and their make up were top notch. We pass through the Demented Circus, which was like a freak show, with a bit of creep factor. Mid way, you also pass through the Wrong Turn house, which was awesome. Inspired by the Chainsaw Massacre, you enter a house complete with crazy family members watching back and white cartoons on TV, and pass by 'victims' screaming for help - turning a corner and seeing the stairs you must descend into the basement on creepy dirt stairs was enough to almost make you want to turn back. After the best haunted maze I've been through, we got to do the Zombie Hunt. Given a paintball gun (attached to the side of the wagon for safety), you are driven through the woods and shoot the zombies nearing the truck. Not scary, but so much fun shooting!A great time laughing and being scared - we followed up with the best hot apple cider we've ever had. Definitely recommended for a Halloween scare.

My friends and I went here for Halloween 2013. We arrived about 8pm, paid for the admission and as soon as we paid they closed the entire shop. They had closed the maze and only had 1 ride left on the paintball attraction. In addition they wanted you to buy more paint-balls (only give you 20) and kept shouting out to the actors that this was the last run. Tried to contact the company by e-mail a few times and they did not even bother to respond.

We visited on the 2nd to last Friday in Oct 2014 for "Hysteria" which is made up of different attractions. The website makes it seem as if there are (5) different experiences. In reality, its three experiences. We purchased the combo which included both "The Fields" and "Cirque du Dement" which is actually one large attraction through a haunted corn maze. Eventually you end up at a "Wrong Turn" / "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" inspired home and then more corn maze leading into a circus tent. The circus part wasn't too scary but the farmhouse and corn fields had me screaming until I was hoarse (but I'm more the wimpy side when it comes to this stuff). The other part of our combo ticket was the "Maze of Darkness" (non-haunted flashlight maze). The website states it's 7 acres but this didn't seem to be the case whatsoever. Obviously the haunted corn maze takes up a large portion of this. I think the non-haunted corn maze walk was reduced in size for a purpose. This farm had quite a bit of attention from the media back in 2009 when a family with two young children called 911 after getting lost in the maze. Our only regret and If we had to do it over again, we would have picked the combo which includes the "Zombie Hunt on Connors Compound". It's a paintball activity where you shoot at live zombies from a vehicle. It sounds really fun but we didn't experience this part of "Hysteria". Also I cannot review "Burial Grounds" as it was not part of our ticket. This sounds like something that would interest you if you love the ghost hunter shows on TV. All and all a great time and lots of fun. We'll probably be back in 2015 for another scare.

Couldn't get our 8-year old grandson off the Bouncy "Pillows" an we all loved the corn maze. There was lots to do and most was included in the basic admission price. Food was tasty - fried dough, apple cider doughnuts, etc. but a little pricey. Can't wait to try zombie paintball next year! :-)

If you are in the area in October and love scary/zombie/Walking Dead stuff you HAVE to go here. There is a huge 10' tall corn field with fog over the top and red lights. It looks so spooky just driving up to it. At the farm stand where you buy your tickets, there are all sorts of zombies walking around and the haunted maze is scary and worth the money! Our teen kids LOVED it!

I love this farm. It has a lot of activities for the kids including three different types of hay rides, tree swings, biking area, ducky water race, playground area with sand pit, trampoline-like jumping area, tire swing, tube swing, etc. The farm store has a lot of fresh fruit and vegetables and I love their fresh, hot cider donuts and baked goods. Also love their live band and the grilled food area. There is an admission fee but it is worth it because my kids enjoy it so much and it is only an once-a-year expense.

Looking for fresh fruit and vegetables? It's all here. Every time we go there we find something new, like ice cream, specialty meats from a local butchery, baked goods and more. It's like going to a full service country store. Their corn is to die for. In the fall, they will have a huge maize. They host strawberry and peach festivals when the fruit is in season. They give seniors discounts every Tuesday.
