We end up here at least once a month. We became barrel society members this year. We first heard about them thru boston magazine and tasted their beer at the craft brew festival. There were four of us and we liked every single beer we had and this was the only booth that we could say that about. They have many unique beers, they make a lot of fruit infused beers, sour style and barrel aged such as in red wine barrels which are very unique and not many people doing that kind of stuff. One of my favs is a habenero beer which sounds strange but is really good. We decided to venture out to visit they had recently opened a larger taproom. It is in a very easy location to get to. Right off of route 16 behind the best buy and the teddy peanut butter factory. They have expanded their hours in the past year and are open pretty late on the weekends. They also frequently have food trucks available so you can have something to eat with all of that beer. We have enjoyed most of the food trucks available but got sick twice off the munch mobile truck so we try to avoid that one now, which is too bad cause the food was pretty good. Have not gone on the tour yet, but plan to the only issue we have had is no beer is allowed on it and we usually have a full glass when they announce the tour start time. They have many events including special nights when they open a new barrel which is exciting. They even do yoga once a month now on sundays!! Have not taken advantage of that yet. The seating is picnic tables, they have gotten so busy that they could use some more seating now. The bathrooms are clean, the service is quick and they always have something new to taste. We keep a growler and fill it at least once every other week. I hope for their continued success and hope you all go by and visit!!

Pretty cool brewery! If you are in the area, worth a stop. The food truck was great to have near by also! Decent amount of parking also. I wasn't over the top about the beers, but some decent stuff to try. They also had an apple beer that was good.

Do not take a trip to Boston without checking out the Night Shift Brewing. Outstanding selection of beers for reasonable prices. Take the brewery tour while you are there

Great beer, and their new location has a lot more space. Filled up a growler, and the wait was not too long at all.

Night Shift's new brewery and taproom in Everett MA is awesome. The staff are incredible ... professional, knowledgeable and super friendly. The lineup of beers is unique and you'll find craft beers here that all feature very high quality ingredients and incredible flavors. Would definitely recommend as a must-visit craft brewery in the Boston area.

This place is kinda hidden so u gotta search for it. I heard u have to go by GOOGLE maps for GPS instead of Apple maps because Apple takes you to the old location. Awesome AWESOME beer selection, not to mention the very informative and friendly bartenders. It's a must go!!!!!!

Really worth the trip. A great selection of beer varieties (especially notable sours, for those who want to expand their beer horizons), friendly staff, and quirky beer hall. The flight is a great deal and nice you don't have to get all 4 at once.

Night shift has moved to a NEW LOCATION. The new place is still in a somewhat industrial area but not scarey - and lots of on street parking. It's actually walkable from Wellington Station on the Orange Line (although it might be like playing frogger so please be careful if you choose to walk!). This weekend was the opening of the new place - it has 4 or 5 large picnic tables in an area with roll up garage doors to let in light and the beautiful day. Also a handful of barrel tables. 4 oz tastes range from $2.50 to $3.50. There's also a choice for 12 oz pours for around $7. When we went there were about 10 beers on tap - but they are supposed to offer more choices once they have fully moved over from the old location. You can buy bottles, growlers and assorted merchandise (Tshirts, glasses, etc.) while you are there. Overall a great way to spend a few hours.

A friend recommended Night Shift as a great place to stop by while in Boston for a couple days of vacation. Three of us swung by on a Tuesday afternoon, (parking in a nearby McDonald's parking lot as Night Shift's website warns to be careful of getting towed at the nearer lot) and found the brewery tucked away in the back of a semi-sketchy warehouse. The brewery is filled with oak barrels with beer brewing and fermenting, as well as several large fermenting tanks. Night Shift had several beers on tap (7 or 8), and more in bottles available. We each got a flight of 4 samples ($6) to get the broad range. I got a Whirlpool (citrus-y pale ale), a JoJo (a pink, floral, hybiscus IPA), a Mosaicnation (belgian double IPA), and a Taza Stout (chocolate-ginger stout). Friends also got the Rose and Bee Tea. The beers are all super-drinkable and focus on individual flavors rather than heavy carbonation. My favorites were the Mosaicnation and the Taza Stout. They have several tables set up in the middle of the active brewery, and you're welcome to hang out and drink while the brewers work around you. Check out their (not mobile-friendly) website for more information about the beers. Definitely worth the trip out.(As a bonus, Idle Hands brewery is right next door, so two breweries in one trip if they're open!)

This local nano-brewery has some delicious and creative brews. I appreciate breweries that aren't afraid to think outside the box about their ingredients and flavors. I recommend the beer flight to get the full experience. The Jojo, Rose, and Taza Stout were particularly tasty.Don't let the location scare you aware. This place is a real hidden gem.

Don't be steered away by the location! My husband and I looked it up online, realized it was in a warehouse district, but were almost turned around because the area around the brewery did just not feel right, get past this and go!! The beers were great, and very creative. We got the viva habanero more than once, and had to pick it up for BBQ after one of the brewers mentioned this for a pairing.

We did an entire beer tasting day with some friends, and Night Shift was on the schedule. Once you get over the "storage unit" appearance and actually finding it, the brewery was fantastic! We met one of the co-founders and it was awesome to hear the story of how this little brewery got started. The Viva Habanera is my favorite beer, by far! I loved the smokey pepper after taste! It reminded me of home :) They also have a Somer Weiss which was pretty good, but very sour. It would be perfect on a warm summer day! We got a little tour and it's amazing to see the growth of their business in just a year! Congrats guys! We will definitely be coming back for more of that Viva, and hopefully bringing some more friends to enjoy you beers! Thanks!

Night Shift is a fantastic and growing brewery located in Everett. Specifically, it is located off of route 16, in a giant industrial hangar of sorts alongside another brewing company known as Idle Hands. Their tasting room is very limited in space and is often buzzing with a dozen people, especially on Saturdays. They don't have a lot of merchandize to sell however you're free to sample most of their beers on tap including some of their finer and rare ones like their sour Berliner ale.Their claim to fame? Well it's hard to pickout but I'd have to say that their Taza chocolate stout and their Viva Habanera rye ale might be the two flagship ones. While the first one is a standard, chocolate stout made with Taza chocolate from Somerville, the latter is a rye lager aged with some spicy habaneros. It's a great beer and most batches aren't hot per say, but give you a nice wave of warmth instead. Definitely unique. They constantly are brewing up new beers featuring some quirky ingredients like their recently released Heartside, a winter ale which has a juniper berry finish and which features a very malty, piney combination of flavors. Delicious! The staff is friendly and best of all, you can pickup most of their beers in small or large growlers. My only knock? Limited seating and the fact that very few of their beers are for sale in bottles at that location. All in all, a solid and exciting brewery.

A bit hard to find, but if you follow the directions on the map, you should have no trouble. Their beer is awesome and different. The best part (other than the sampling) is that you get to see how a real small brewery is run from three guys who absolutely love what they are doing.
