I recently went to 5 Wits for a work team building event. We were broken up into groups of 10. Our group went through the 20000 Leagues Under the Sea adventure. In my opinion, 10 people was to large a group to go through this at one time. In many of the rooms several people were standing around while others completed the appropriate task - a bit boring at times. It was OK, but I think it's geared more toward the teen-age crowd.

If you don't want to be with other people, you can always purchase ten tickets to reserve the show just for your group, or if that doesn't work for you, give us a call and we'll make recommendations about the best time to visit.Each guide will play the experience a little differently each time based on the type of group. We do give them a substantial amount of freedom to do things differently so they can truly offer something unique, which sometimes means thinking a little outside the box. As with any live or improvisational theatrical experience that means once in a blue moon things misfire. I'm sorry to hear you thought your experience in Espionage was in any way hokey and I sincerely hope you come visit us again and experience one of the alternate endings to your adventure. I made a pervious review on here from a few years ago when I did "Espionage" but "20,000 Leagues" was still under construction.I FINALLY made a trip back while visiting some relatives to do the "20,000 Leagues" under the suggestion of one of my cousins and WOW, was I amazed! I had the 4:15 tour on Sunday, November 9th. There were about 11 in our group, 12 if you count the tour guide. The guide we had kept the story flowing, had us laughing and helped when needed. He even helped me when I was having a little trouble figuring something out. Everyone had a chance to work on the puzzles in the rooms. The attention to detail is just stunning! If you guys manage to expand and open more adventures, that'd be awesome!

Thanks for coming back! While the puzzles are always the same, there are in fact five different endings to our Espionage show - what ending you get depends entirely on your performance. If you haven't yet seen 20,000 Leagues, definitely come check it out! And if you have, check out our Halloween show this fall, 20,000 Leagues Lights OUT. It takes place in complete darkness with a new soundtrack, a new story, and new special effects. We hope to see you there!

If you're looking for an experience that caters specifically to an older crowd, we strongly recommend checking out our Adults Adventure Night, Thursday through Saturday 6 PM to close. We reserve several shows on these nights for guests 18 and over so there's no worry of frightened children and such interrupting the experience.
