Liked the people I met. Very friendly folks. Nice owners. Course was nice. One of the longest mini-golf holes. Very cool place.
I used a groupon and went with 5 kids ages 9-14. This is a very nice mini golf. There are lots of plants and the landscaping is really lovely. The holes are not too tough. It would be good with younger kids too. We also had hot dogs and slushies or ice cream. Their food prices are very good. The hot dogs were mediocre at best but the slushies were huge. The ice cream is pre-packaged treats but again they are good for the price. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
I visited the course, because I had read an article about what they were doing and wanted to learn more. The course used to be called Water Hazard, but had closed in 2012. Putts and More was founded by three families on a mission to deliver first-class miniature golf, while providing meaningful employment to teenagers and young adults with disabilities. They bought the former Water Hazard and have been working to restore it to its original condition. The putt-putt course includes 18 challenging holes in a well-maintained entertainment park. There is a small snack bar, that offers hot dogs, ice cream and slushies. Discounts are available for larger groups, leagues, and fund-raising activities.A Boston Globe article from June 25, 2014 reported that "Four area nonprofits will assign people to work at the course: Price Center in Newton, which works with disabled children, Accept Educational Collaborative in Natick, which helps people ages 18-22 who need extra schooling; Milford Community Use Program, which offers extra-curricular activities for all ages; and Crossroads School in Natick, which works with autistic children."
