nantasket beach

As long as its low tide (At high tide, there's almost no where to even sit!) it is a nice beach. The water isn't too bad (cold wise) and it is a large beach at low tide for the kids. They also like exploring the rocks but be careful. There is also a nice Ferris Wheel for the kids. Some of the characters down there are sketchy, especially at night which is too bad but otherwise its nice.

This beach is really beautiful and much better then Duxbury Beach. The Beach is local to lots of stores and restaurants.

Very clean, very calming. I love the ocean and this was my zin spot. Absolutely gorgeous views! Many people were out and about enjoying the beach even though the weather was cooler.

Great beach in the off season to take your dog for a walk. Very surprised in the amount of activity on New Years day.

This is really a nice beach with lots to do. I have come here during the summer but even in the off season it's very quiet!! Takes a little bit of time to get there but when you do you immediately notice the wonderful ocean views. There is a huge walkway to walk around and enjoy. A few restaurants and bars to enjoy a meal in. It's a very clean beach and usually doesn't get too packed here. With parking throughout.

The views are new and beautiful every with every sunrise/sunset. Be sure to catch sunrise from Nantasket Beach, and sunset from Sunset Ave. Gorgeous!

Loved that everything was close and easy to find, coffee within walking distance. Awesome to walk on and found a lot of shells and crabs for our collection.

Lovely hotel, bar atmosphere great and service first class. Had a bar snack first night, which was really good. Second night had meal in restaurant which was ok, sadly steaks generally in America not great, however overall a fabulous stay.

Nice walk on the beach. Good area to visit, clean beach nice town. We would definitely revisit if in the area

Great beach. Really crowded near the public bath houses. If you don't mind straying farther from amenities/attractions the northern end of the beach is much less touristy and relaxing.

Great location. It reminded us of some of the beach communities back where we lived in CA...without the Californians!

We grew up on this beach ! We've always loved it. We brought our kids up here too ! Now our grandkids enjoy it too. We live just outside of Cooperstown, N.Y., but make sure we come back every year! Please come ! You won't regret it ! Charlene and Larry Wilson

This a a great little beach. Perfect for families. Just watch the tide chart, at high tide there is very little actual beach (we just planned on going out to lunch during high tide time). There were great little tide pool areas as the tide went out, my children loved catching the little hermit crabs.

It was a nice sandy, public beach. The shallow water was great for wading and kids. Saw lots of surfers. Parking looked tough as the day went on.

Not a bad beach but gets very small during high tide. It doesn't seem like they clean it as it hadn't been raked the whole time I was there (third week in August). I also only saw one lifeguard the whole time I was there and he was just walking down the beach. Otherwise, just get there early and get a spot up by the wall and move down as the tide rolls out.
