We went today for the first time and had a blast. The facility was very clean and several staff members were walking around cleaning and disinfecting. There is a lot to do for toddlers and we will be back again.
This is a great, fun and safe place for children to play and have the time of their lives. There are plenty of different activites to choose from. This is a shoe free zone, therefore wear clean warm socks and you'll be ready to go.
To know when you go:-It is a "shoe-free" facility - if you go in warmer weather remember to bring socks. They do sell adult shoe covers for a very reasonable $.25.-There are a number of large mills in the same area - look for Salvatore's - they are located on the 2nd floor above the restaurants/function space.-There is a lot of parking, but it doesn't seem sufficient on a weekday for all the retail spaces it services. You may want to bring a stroller to get from where you will need to park to the entrance.-There is an art area. If you are interested in painting paint costs $.25. There are also other crafts available for purchase - there is plenty to do without that, but if you're interested you'd want to bring cash.Great features:-They do not allow outside food, but have a large selection of healthy & reasonably priced snacks and lunch. -There is a great climbing structure. -There is a small bounce house.-It's very clean.I don't live in the area, but if I did I would probably not get a monthly pass since there are only a few sections (the grocery store being one of them) that I felt could entertain my 3 year old over and over again for long periods of time, BUT I would likely go every few months. They seem to offer a lot of special events in addition to the play space. My daughter was very sad to leave Imajine That.
We have loved going to Imagine That with our two year old! It is located in a renovated mill building and is a very large open space with many different play areas including: a "supermarket" with toy shopping carts and pretend food, a two story climbing structure, a bounce house, music room, play stage, infant play area, and more. The arts and crafts are is fantastic, we always come home with a great work of art! Imagine That was truly designed to be a fun space for children to safely play while making it easy for parents to keep an eye on their children, we really enjoy taking our son here. In fact, our sons second birthday party was here! There is a snack bar with macaroni and cheese, pizza, chips, goldfish, juice, and more, with a small seating area adjacent. Highly recommend.
There's a ton to do in this place for kids, but we wished it was a little better organized. May an employee at each play station to kind of monitor the kids, etc. for safety purposes. The eating area needed to be up-kept quicker and maybe could be a little larger too. The craft classes were great. My daughter enjoyed the Make Your Own Crayon and Pizza Making.
This place is amazing: 12,000 square feet of fun for the kids. There is something for everyone, and enough variety to keep kids entertained for hours and multiple visits. The space is divided into multiple themed areas and provides great gross motor play for kids without resorting to video games. Great staff, safe environment, great fun for the kids. There is something for all personalities of kids, though I would say that it is most appropriate for ages 2-7. We had my son's birthday party there - they do an incredible job with those. They must have some deal with WGBH since Leona from Between the Lions showed up!
