I arrived with the rest of my golf team to do battle on some of the most famous courses in the world. Unfortunately most of us were too used to professional golf on real courses, battling with the elements, the crowds, and the pressure of big prizes. This meant that being in a pleasant indoor environment, with beer and too many left handed clubs caused our usual scratch handicaps to count for nothing as we regularly carded 8s and 9s, and that was just the par 3s!All that being said we had a great time and coming third in the longest drive competition counted for a lot, although I'm still waiting on my trophy...

We went here for a team event and it was a good time. I had never been to a virtual golf place like this, so it was interesting. It was also interesting how they did the putting part of the game. We rented out 4 stalls and had drinks, and at the very end, we had a furthest drive competition, which was a lot of fun. I highly recommend for a team outing as it's a nice relaxed environment and has a full bar. There are also dart boards and a pool table for those who aren't into golf, and they also have a big screen TV. I'd recommend eating elsewhere though (e.g. Maggie's Farm) as opposed to eating at the pizza place that's next door (that is, unless if you like pizza - then go for it). And doing 9 holes takes about 2 hours, so just keep that in mind.

ボストン市内からはやや離れたところにある、ゴルフシミュレーション施設です。ゴルフは初めてだったのですが、これがなかなか難しい。最初のティーに乗せている場合はまだ良くとも、床に置いたボールにクラブをあてることがこんなに難しいとは思いませんでした。壁に向かってボールが飛んでいくと、その時のあたりの良さや角度によって飛距離が計算され、目の前の画面の中でボールが飛んでいきます。イメージは本物のボールとクラブを使った、Wiiのゴルフ。やり始めるともっとうまくできないか、と考え始めて結構はまります。　室内ゴルフなのでボールを補充するする必要もなく、ゴルフ初めての人にとってはクラブでボールを打つ経験も含めて楽しめる施設ではないかな、と感じました。
