My wife and I always start the same conversation after our arrival to Tendercrop....Expensive.....But worth every $$$$$$ spent there. Where else can you get fresh spinach in the winter time??? Fresh tasty Watermelon in the winter time???Best Burger you ever tasted. If you buy three pounds they will take 2 bucks a pound off your bill. The dried flower arrangements are why my wife loves this place. Guys, if your wallet is over packed with bucks this place will clean it out for you. Don't loose site of your wife, girlfriend or who ever your going to be at Tendercrop Farm with. No gas stations for miles in either direction so keep an eye on your gas gauge before shopping. All seriousness this is the place for everything you would expect your produce and meats to be...perfect.

If you want top shelf food for your table, go here. Fresh veggies, meats looked outstanding, bought some excellent bread, could go on and on.

I've been shopping here for 10+ years. What a cute farm! Outdoors they have farm animals & buffalo (in warm months). Great place to buy your seasonal plantings/flowers ... good quality. Indoors a vast variety of fruits, vegetables, local honey & maple syrup .... many of the produce they sell are grown on the farm or local. I feel good about supporting local farmers! They also have a butcher section with fresh meats and sausage. Cage free eggs are my favorite. Also, upstairs, they have some nice dried flowers, wreathes, nautical decorations, and local made bath and body items.

The animals are a wonderful attraction for kids but that is the sole reason to visit here.Prices are out of line on the high side and our experience with 3 staff members led to the easy conclusion that they should take a customer service charm course refresher.

After overindulging in the spectacular seafood at The Clam Box in Ipswich, we continue the 8 miles north to Tender Crop Farm for their incredibly fresh and reasonably priced produce, as well as the outstanding baked goods. Don't leave without purchasing at least a small blueberry crisp for dessert or a midnight snack! For the younger set (as well as those young at heart), there are friendly goats, cows, alpaca and other critters to both see and pet.

I've seen Tendercrop Farm grow over the past 15+ years. It has become what a local farm stand should attempt to be if it wants to go beyond the roadside stage. Tendercrop is a real emporium of fresh food with a wide variety of local and some not so local food. From the amenities for its customers to the friendly and helpful staff this place does it exactly right

Freshest vegetables. Clean. Great atmosphere to shop in. Old barn. Nice anytime but we love it best in the fall--buy the Indian corn here to hang on our front door. Fun just to go there and only buy some jam--just for the experience.

Most of what they sell at this store is grown right on the grounds of the farm. They offer a great variety of fruits, vegetables, salads, and sandwiches that you can buy, and eat right there outside on their patio, or over on picnic tables on the property. They also have a petting zoo for children, and a corral for interacting with friendly animals. It is not only a great place to get food, it is a cultural experience for children as well.

Tendercrop in Newbury is THE farm to go. The place is amazing. This big farm offers their own veggies, meat, poultry flowers. Their fruit are really ripe from the tree. They offer the best apricots I have tasted in a long time. The veggies and fruit are not more expensive than a regular supermarket and sometimes cheaper. The Black Angus meat is pricey but of the highest quality. We got some ribs and their own BBQ sauce. The best sauce I ever had on juicy flavorful ribs. We don’t mind driving 30 minutes to go in summer because we are sure to find the best at an affordable price. If you are going with kids, the pet zoo has a llama, a bison, pig, and wild turkey.I really recommend Tendercrop farm as the best in the area.

This place is just great. They farm their own meat and veggies. They also offer a bakery and kitchen to prepare foods including their beef in a number of marinades, sauces, etc. And if you are interested in dried flowers, this is THE place to go. Both for arrangements, and bunches hanging from the rafter upstairs for you to DIY.They also have their own little zoo of farm animals, and some other critters.

We always stop here whenever we're over on the coast. Their veggies and other produce are excellent, the ambiance is delightful and I'd kill for a place like this near me in S. New Hampshire. Delicious baked goods, meats and other goodies round out the selection as well as beautiful wreaths and other household accents. You could shop here for all your grocery needs very easily.
