Easy on and off expressway! Delicious food....great service...beautiful atmosphere... and wonderful views!
My daughter got married at Granite links in October. The wedding coordinator, Linda Blackmore and her staff were great and attentative. Granite Links offers the best view of of Boston and the harbor. The food was excellent! The ball room was spacious. All of our guest were happy with the venue. I would highly recommend for any event!
Outstanding view of parts of Boston Harbor, the harbor islands and the city from this hilltop restaurant. Had a terrific lunch. 12 good sized shrimp (cocktail) is only $12.00! Had the best BLT I've probably ever had. Give it a try, you'll like it.
I have Lunch here at the Tavern about 5-times over the year and never disappointed, great views, service, and the food Awesome! Steak tips are to die for, great salads, Mac&Cheese Wow. Had lunch on the deck great view of Boston. This place is just not for golfers. Will be comming back!!
Granite Links is a 27 hole club located about ten miles south of downtown Boston, right off the Southeast Expressway. It is a top 100 course in the US, and deservedly so. The courses are built in and around long-closed quarries, which come into play, and the 360 degree views of the Boston skyline to the north, the harbor to the east, the Blue Hills to the south and west are beyond breathtaking. The holes are grand-scale, with many blind shots, long carries off the tees, and tucked away greens. It is not for golfers who can't break 100, and that is stretching it. Senior rates make the course very affordable, otherwise $125 including cart and use of the practice facility. If you are looking for a memorable round of golf very near downtown, Granite Links is the place. And by the way, the 19th Hole is rated number 6 in the country
We came here for the first time and I have to say WOW what a course. We really enjoy the 18 holes and the panorama. Before playing we went for lunch to restaurant and I have to say that it was nothing special just average food (good service) and we were expecting something more. But in general all very good!
The view is breathtaking. The restaurant is just okay. The prices a little high. The golf is good. Good place to practice hitting balls.
My husband and I like to share the shrimp cocktail, a salad, and the mushroom and brie pizza-- the perfect meal! The view and sunsets are a bonus.
We attended a wedding reception here. Food was excellent as well as the service. Views are amazing! Boston skyline in the background and golf course with a fountain was the view off the balcony. Staff is amazing. They made sure everyone was happy, well fed and lots of alcohol. Haha. The sunset off the balcony was breathtaking.
The food here is good. If it's a nice evening you can sit out on the balcony of the restaurant or go up to the outside tent on the hill that usually has a guitar player on Friday evenings early say 5-7 amazing sunsets view from there, it's casual, nice !
If you are a Shrimp Cocktail lover then look no further The Granite Links have what I call one of the best loss leaders around!!! Bar none 12 Icy Cold Shrimps in one cocktail for 10 Bucks That's less then $1 a piece!! This is one of my favorite places to bring someone you want to impress as the view is spectacular In the summer time you can sit on the deck have a great view of the Boston area and also watch the golfers approach the green and putt in the last hole I have dined there many times and have always had a terrific meal. Their lamb is so tender and delicious and the seafood dishes were succulent. There Pizza is crisp and tantalizing to say the least. As for the staff I have nothing but Kudos as they are attentive and always smiling!
This restaurant and golf club have the second best view in the City of Quincy only because I love a water view. It is a place to take visitors for an impressive view and excellent food. We have dined there several times and have never had a bad meal. Their lamb is delicious and the seafood dishes were excellent. It is a great value for the meal and ambiance. We look forward to visiting again soon. They also have a beautiful golf shop.
I can't rate the golf, as I'm not a golfer, but don't let that stop you. Restaurant is great with one of the best panoramic views in the whole of the Boston area. And to add to the great food, it has a good selection of well-kept draft beers.
I can't speak to the golf course, but the views of Boston and the surrounding South Shore area are excellent. The food offered by the restaurant is varied, well-prepared, and not highly-priced.
