Walking trail along the canal. Birdwatching, water fowl and other walking tours. Inside is a large cattle barn all refurbished. It was River Bend Farm which my father used to have a house to house milk delivery job there. Maple sugaring in the spring.

I find myself at the Blackstone many times through out the year.Each season offers something different.Whether you're a photographer or just someone who likes to hike,there's always something for everyone! I never visit without my camera!

I have been to this state park several times. It is a very pretty area that runs by the Blackstone Canal. It has a few hiking trails and a visitor center. The rangers there do have some programs for young children, one of which my niece attended, which was informative and fun for the whole family. There s also a lesser known area off to the side which has decent birdwatchng

Wonderful place to walk and see turtles, birds and all other kinds of animals. The kids would love it! Also it is handicapped accesable for a wheelchair. I took my Mom and she loved it! The Ranger was/is so informative and we have returned many times!

Have a picnic, walk the trails and see some wildlife - all fun calm things to do for yourself or with children. Stop bye on a regular basis myself or with my grandson.

I rode my hybrid bicycle all around the Heritage State Park and it was a nice ride. The park personnel were very good guides to the park, trails and region. The only negatives would be some trails were not well maintained, some of the road crossings were dangerous primarily due to limited sight lines and drivers that didn't think the trail should cross their road.Next ride will likely be with the mountain bike on most of the trails and the kayak for a complementary view of a real nice area.

This is a great place for a peaceful walk along a scenic towpath by the canal- surrounded by beautiful mowed fields.

This is an excellent place for a trail run, a mt bike ride, or a hike with your dog. My dog seems to like it. The mountain biking trails are really good, especially if you cross the street and take the Goat Lock Trail. The trail that goes by the visitors center is flat, easy and great for families.They have educational activities and concerts in the summer. Warning: hunting is allowed here.

Great vantage points in Rice city section. Had seen Bald eagles here this spring. On any day you can see ducks,geese and hawks. On Plummer landing area look for snapping turtles,fox,coyote and deer.

Preserves the canal-era heritage of the Blackstone Valley; expertly maintained by the Massachusetts DCR. Rangers lead informative tours. Check their website for the seasonal activities, including Sunday afternoon open-air concerts. Nice walk. Take a canoe or kayak up and down the canal.

I like to walk in the woods with my dog and this place was perfect for both of us

People who have an interest in industrial history, family history, family travelers ... Go see it! Lots of lovely outdoor experience. Kids can run around ..
