If you are in Worcester and there is an art exhibition here go. They know what they are doing and always have fascinating and challenging small exhibitions.

Had I not arrived late for an art opening, I would have missed the walk down campus through handsome brick buildings and inviting gardens. Once in the O'Kane Building (the Clock Tower), the gallery is a bit hard to locate, lacking clear signage, but once there, the Cantor Art Gallery shows itself to be a space easily adaptable to both sculptural and installation works as well as paintings, prints and drawings. Main gallery on the left is a warm inviting space and the hallway to the right provides the ground to continue ideas and themes. The current show, ReThink Ink - Mixit at 25, reveals the director and curatorial team to be seasoned professionals with a clear point of view and a love for their subject matter. This show, delivered in two parts, will run through 2014. Art-seeking visitors to the Worcester area are encouraged to find this first-rate gallery delivers on its promise to both teach its bad students and to engage the community at large.
