This mall is a hidden joy from tourist. I was staying at the Hampton Inn Cambridge and across from the hotel under an overpass and two blocks down the street is the mall. I think it is 3 or 4 stories high and you would never know from the outside. In the summer it is nice to go to the food court and eat outside, along the Charles River and there is a boat tour you can take there that is also nice you learn a lot about Boston on the trip. You can usually get discounted tickets on Living Social, what I have done is sign up for notices for Boston deals.Today's Hours: 10am-9pm View Details »100 CambridgeSide Place, Cambridge, MA 02141 View Map » If you are in need of a parking place that is inexpensive this mall offers that also. Check out their website it gives you parking rates. You can take the green line in town it is two stops from the TD Garden.
On first look it doesn't look a large mall, but 3 decks of stores with something for everyone is more than adequate to while away a rainy afternoon. The quality of choice coupled with bargain prices (compared to the UK) meant we could take full advantage of the sales, and buy some post christmas presents along the way. The food court is also very pleasant, offering a wide variety of choice. If I am ever in the area again i will definately be making a visit to the galleria.
Good quality stores, pleasant, parking was easy, very good restaurants and food court. Very clean and family friendly. Movie theater a short drive away
A great amount of shops and restaurants for whatever taste you have. Shops for everyone, ranging from very cheap to higher class with a few market stalls running through the center. A great view and easy access to a very picturesque lake and fountain just down some steps from the back of the mall! Definitely would recommend a visit, we left with far too many bags!
My wife wanted to go here on our holiday. Good choice of shops and stalls from Macy's to A&F to Apple to Victorias Secret. We got the subway from the centre of Boston to Lechmere station, from there it's about 3 mins walk to the shopping centre. Plenty of places to eat as well, so ax far as shopping goes, not too bad!
Marlowe Kimpton hotel leads directly to parking lot of mall. so you can walk directly from hotel into the mall. go outside and around the corner to get to the T

We spend a very happy 5 hours in the Galleria Mall in Cambridge. It has all the shops you want including Macy's, Abercrombie & Fitch, Bath & Body and Victoria's Secret to name but a few. We also had lunch at the food court which was lovely and clean and you can sit outside which was in a lovely setting. If you want to shop til you drop then this mall is definitely worth a visit.
Really nice place for shopping. There are all famous brands for clothing and tech. Really nice to spend a little time shopping!
Went there three times in one day (with different people). The variety of stores will fit almost everyone's needs. They have large anchor stores, electronic stores, smalls stores, restaurants, and a food court. Was there a few years ago, but did not have much time to shop and browse then.
This shopping mall was right around the corner from my hotel on a recent trip. It's a nice sized mall with a good selection of trendy brands. The bright spot for me was the relaxing outdoor patio off the food court that overlooks the water. I worked from my hotel a couple of days in a row and it was nice to take a short walk to grab a quick lunch here. There are some nice, healthy dining options and the setting is refreshing.
They don't have much for shopping unless you're a 12-year-old girl, but if you are in East Cambridge and the weather turns nasty, it's a great place to get in some mall walking. Food court is nasty, except for the middle eastern place. If you want to have more space to walk, go to the upper floors. I hate having to pay to park when I shop, but the garage is pretty cheap nights and weekends, so it's a really good place to park if you're going to the Science Museum across the street. It's the scuzziest Macy's ever, lousiest CPK, and creepiest CVS, but if all you want to do is mall walk, it's not too bad!
This is a nice mall. They have all the right stores...even a Best Buy on the corner. I love the design and architecture of the mall too. The curb side drive makes it very easy to drop a spouse off right at the front door. I'd shop here again.
I went looking for clothes to fit me and didn't expect not to find nothing bigger than 42". Pretty bad really, haven't these stores not looked at the average man in the mall???
I did not expect it to be so Huge! It Was the SPOT to hang out and it was right across the street from the hotel which made it even better.
