Worth a stop-in to find out more about the history of Easton. Enjoyed the story-telling of the volunteer who manned the museum that day - son of a business man who helped to build the canning business there.
We just happened into this little museum, and really enjoyed it. There were enough hands-on activities to keep the kids interested (ages 8 and 13) and lots of information that engaged the adults. I was especially impressed that African American history and perspectives were so prevalent.
While the museum was an interesting collection of local history and lore, the real reason to visit is its next-door garden.
Sorry guys, but I'm not really a museum person but the hubby is. It was nice and clean. Yes, there was some interesting items/articles in there to view.
We didn't get to go inside but enjoyed a stroll through the garden that is open to the public. Lots of variety there and loved the design of the compost bin. Felt great to be outside somewhere lovely.
Come and see what "life used to be like" in a sleepy wonderful little town. On the way to Ocean City, but I bet most passing by are not even aware that this gem is stone thrown from them.
Charming small town museum with some interesting exhibit. Nice old house to tour and lovely gardens.
We enjoy histroy and this little place is a nice taste of local history with dedicated friendly locals making it even more welcoming.
This new exhibit opened on first Friday. History of Neavitt. Very nice. Especially worth the visit for locals. Fun.
The exhibits are interesting and the campus is beautiful especially the garden and they have a great consignment antique store too.
