I have always loved the atmosphere of the Ott House. Great place to unwind and have a beer. Excellent seafood and very cheap menu prices! Dance club on the weekends w/DJ and great bands! Love this place!

Good people, good food, good service,,,,what more can you ask?Right on the main drag in Emmitsburg it's easy to find, parking is on surface streets, but usually plentiful.

About an hour-and-a-half north of #Washington #DC is this local pub in #Emmitsburg, #MD just outside the #NationalEmergencyTrainingCenter. It's frequented by #firefighters in training at the center. Right in the heart of this small town's historic district, The #OttHouse is the kinda spot where everybody knows your name. Many firefighters over the course of history have left their station shoulder patches on the bar wall and many more have left their mark on the bar stools. Great regional comfort food on the menu to choose from -- but definitely try the #crabDip. The local #beer is #Yuengling -- a must have. Plenty of street parking. Tables for family style dining or eat at the bar. The staff makes you feel right at home. Once in, it's hard to leave. Highly recommended. Will definitely come back!
