There is so much to do. With children you can begin at the playground, and then head to the nature center

I came by for a conference meeting, but was really wowed by the atmosphere. The mansion was gorgeous and decorated in such lovely, historic way. I drove back the next day to show my mother and we found that a wedding was taking place out front. With the trees in bloom for springtime, what a lovely place to celebrate an outdoor event. The staff was quite friendly and hospitable to our group. I only wish I had more time to explore the inside of the mansion!

It's very well maintained, beautiful grounds; easy free parking; sledding on the grounds when it snows in the winter. My brother and sister-in-law had their wedding reception there and it was charming!

A couple of friends and me drove to this park on a Sunday evening.. there were hardly any people; it was so peaceful.. We did a bit of running around, a small hike (there are some tiny streams around), spotted a couple of deer and just chilled out.. The place makes for lovely snaps too!Do not forget to carry a frisbee or a ball.. there is ample space for any sport! And you have to load up on snacks, there aren't any food options available.

The beautifully restored Glenview Mansion has art exhibits, a recital room, and is rented for weddings. The F. Scott Fitzgerald Theater is home to Victorian Lyric Opera (Gilbert & Sullivan and more), Rockville Musical Theater, Rockville Concert Band, and much more. The spacious grounds have outdoor concerts and children's events in the summer. There's a playground, climbing wall, sculpture, and nature center.
