Excellent service and well organised! Picked up and drop off at the end of the trip. The entire 4d3n trip was taken care by the Outlook Safari ranger and staff in the camp, food was excellent. Camping tent was well better than expected. Nothing much to ask for to get such a valuable package.

Outlook Safaris did excellent job; we had a superb holiday in South Africa. In less than five days we managed to see more than 80 different spices in the Kruger National Park. There were several professional guides, but our favorite was Johannes Mogotsi.Chef Bright Ndlovy was able to create delicious breakfasts, brunches and dinners in the Outlook's tent restaurant, located in the lodge village. All the staff members were kind, helpful, precise, effective and nice.We have already planned also the next winter holidays to take place in Kruger - and of course -organised by Outlook Safaris.

Comparing prices for safaris around Kruger can get expensive so I feel strongly that we hit the jackpot on this one.One thing you have to know when going on safari is that you take a chance whether you will see many animals or not. If I were to choose again I would go later in the year (we just went this past weekend Feb 13-15 and much of the land didn't have any animals). Apparently February is the month you are most likely to not see everything. I got lucky over the 4 safari drives I went on we saw the entire Big 5 which is extremely rare.I would say the best timeline is to do a 3 night/4 day safari unless you are going to another place for safaris after staying at Skukuza. We did a 2 night/3 day and I would have loved to stay another day.Skukuza was a really great place to stay - it was very nice in the Chalet for the Classic Safari - had towels (we brought our own concerned at what condition the towels might be in but they were totally fine), air conditioning, mini fridge with freeze, kettle for heating water (bring your own instant coffee/sweetener). I would stay there again in a heartbeat!FJ is an AMAZING guide - truly wonderful I couldn't believe a 21 year old was so informative on all the drives and knew the answers to 90% of our questions.Broken down this is what our weekend looked like:We arrived a bit early around 1pm on a Friday and checked in at the gate then proceeded to check in at Skukuza. The camp itself doesn't have safaris booked so make sure you have your guides phone number to call when you arrive at Skukuza so they can come and collect you.Night #1 - went on a safari through the Skukuza Camp from 4:30-7:30 (this was not a good one - the highlight was baboons and the guide didn't tell us any information at all)-got back and was picked up by a guide from outlook who took us to Outlooks camp site where there was a beautiful dinner set up. We then had a 3 course meal (salad, then beef with potatoes and veggies, then a delicious pear dessert)Day #2 - Be at the Outlook Camp (a 3 min walk from most Chalets) at 5:30AM for biscotti-type biscuits, coffee and tea - safari from 6-9am followed by a delicious 2 course breakfast-free time from around 10:30-2:30 and then another game drive from 3-6-another delicious 3 course dinner around 7:30Day #3Same as Day #2 in the AM with a checkout after breakfastDuring free time there is a store, little museum type place, swimming pool, and restaurant - I recommend checking out the deck at the restaurant for a drink there were water buffalo and alligator SO close! Very cool!Make sure to tip the guides if they do a great job!! Between a friend and I we gave R200 for 3 game drives FJ had conducted.

Our second safari with Outlook and a second 5 star experience. Ten days staying at Skukuza, Satara,Lower Sabie and Oliphants camps. Great birding, superbly led by Robert who also managed to find us cheetah, leopard and lion along the way. Outlook are a great safari outfit who look after their guests and are expert in every aspect of providing a great Kruger experience.

Stayed in September of 2013 on the first leg of an amazing voyage around the world. Debbie was an excellent host, tracker, and knowledgeable guide. The food was great. Skukuza Rest Camp Bungalows were very comfortable. Truly enjoyed my time with Outlook Safaris.

We did a 4 day (3 night) Classic Safari and highly recommend the entire experience. Elsabe coordinated our reservation via emails from halfway around the world and answered any questions we had about logistics. Johannes was our guide the entire time. He has a great sense of humor, is a wealth of information about the animals and the park, and worked very hard to make sure we saw as many animals as we could. The entire experience was relaxing and fun, the food and wine were delicious across all meals. All of the staff were professional and personable (including guide Dirk and chef Bright).Recommendations:- 4 day/3 night felt like the perfect length of time - it ensured we saw animals, relaxed off the grid, and met new people.- Fly into Skukuza airport (rather than driving from Joburg), which is a lux backyard more than an airport, and only a 50-minute flight from Joburg rather than a many-hour drive. The entire Outlook Safari operation was incredibly well-coordinated and well-executed.

We were blown away by the experience. All of the guides know what their stuff and they love doing it. It is very clear they have a passion for the animals. We got to see the Big 5 and more. We were mainly with Johannes during our adventure and he was an amazing guy to be around, but the whole crew is really something. Dirk & Johannes really have a cool friendly competition going where they both want to see the most when they go out on trips. This not only helps you see more animals, but it makes it really fun. Then when you come back from your safari trip and you settle into camp, Brite (the Chef) cooks some amazing meals. Meals so good you forget you are in a National Park for a few hours. This was the kickoff to our honeymoon and we will never forget it. Big thanks to Outlook. And Highly recommend.

We stayed at Skukuza park for 4 nights. All that time we were looked after by Outlook safaris. They cooked our meals and they looked after us during game drives. Great people! The trackers are very enthusiastic and it is obvious that they love their jobs. They gave us one of the best vacations!

We did a 16 day tour with Outlook through Kruger,Tembe and various other parks in kwa Zulu Natal mainly focusing on birding. We were allocated Errol De Beers as our driver /guide and you have to see Errol at work to believe it. He found us 400 birds and his skill in identifying birds it just amazing. He only needs a quick glimpse or a single tweet to know a bird. I've had some good guides in my life but none better than Errol. There were also plenty of other great wildlife experiences and yes, we got the big 30 !!! Not all went as expected, for example, bring food if you go to Mkuze as there is no restaurant just a take away. We would recommend Outlook and Errol to anyone and they are only too happy to let you put together your own itinerary.

So start from the booking, Elsabe Josste was very helpful and managed to answer all my queries promptly. Once we arrived at the airport in Jo'burg, we were picked up by Sydney ( I guess that how you spell it). He was nice and supportive as he made a great effort to bring us to the Skukuza camp in time for the evening game drive. Jared, the camp leader at the time, was a very friendly host, knowledgeable, and humorous. Our experiences for all game drives were excellent. We got to see all the BIG 5 and Chetah kill and a lot more! Our guide, Lucky, was very knowledgeable and absolutely knows his way around the park. On the last day we decided to take the panorama tour which we highly recommend to everyone. Food here was amazing (including the red wine!). Just a couple low points:- instead of 5 game drives promised, we only had 4. - we reserved a double bed but received twin.- the sink in the bathroom was clogged but we didnt inform the staff about this. So thank you all the Outlook staff!

Our 5 Day Classic Kruger Park Safari was a wonderful journey. We arrived quite late in the morning due to our international flight from Paris and we retained a special transfer to Kruger Park. The driver Aderto was waiting for us at the airport and was very friendly during the entire road to the Park. We eventually got into the Park before the night. Then at Skukuza camp, Moss picked us up for a dinner prepared by Chef Zenzi. During all the stay we enjoyed the excellent food in company of many fine people coming from many different countries. The day after, the heavy rains had generated flood and most unpaved road were closed. Nevertheless, all the guides did their best to fulfil the expectation of our group. On several occasions, or guide was Debbie, passionate about wildlife, sharing her passion and her knowledge of the park. She is also an accomplished artist in painting wildlife. She was always taking care of staying long enough to accommodate our group during the photo shooting. We saw many beautiful scenes of big or small animals, both of equal respect for Debbie. We also appreciated much the kindness of Jarrett who has recently joined the team.Walking safari at dawn and night safari were also a must. When it was time to drive back to the airport, the driver chose a longer road through the park and we were able to see a hearse of elephant bathing. These 5 days in Kruger were an unforgettable experience, plenty of encounters of great people and beautiful animals, fine food and an excellent organisation and the kindness of all the team.

Since this was our first visit to the African continent, we obviously had absolutely no idea how to go about different safaris....... And the 'claims' of the various travel companies on the net, left us none the wiser! It was, therefore, with some trepidation that we booked ourselves with Outlook Safaris for our 4-day/3-night Krugger visit........ And are we glad we did?....You bet!.... They not only met but far exceeded our expectations and pleasantly surprised us at every step - including very thoughtfully providing us with ponchos and hot water bags to beat the morning drive chills.......The pre-dawn and afternoon game dives with our immensely knowledgeable, friendly and animal loving guides - Quintin and Euesty - were simply fantastic......Their various anecdotes added to the fun and excitement of the trips....... The 'sightings' were awesome [including a leopard taking its kill up on a tree to savour, lionesses devouring theirs, a pride stopping us on our track as it ambled across our road to its den......the list is quite long....The icing on the cake was the encounter with a pack of wild dogs - now on the verge of extinction and an extremely rare sight....... And then the others of the 'Big 5' as well as some from the 'ugly 5' - including many spotted hyenas.... The silence of the dark forest and the starlit sky above, left us with an unforgettable experience..... And kudos to every member of the 'Outlook' staff for it.....The chalet in Skukuza was clean and comfortable and the candle lit dinners with fellow animal lovers was another fabulous experience - with each having a story of his/her own to tell...... And above all, it was real good value for money...... We won't have to look elsewhere for our next trip, though not sure when it will be.......

We had the best guide imaginable: Debbie is a walking encyclopedia about the animals and birds and is able to anticipate exactly where they will be and what they will do next. Because of her we were able to see all the big five, the ugly six, and have solitary, long encounters when other guides and their guests had left disappointed. She also has a great sense of humour and a real passion for the environment. Overall we thought Outlook was a superb organization. We had the trip of a lifetime...thanks to all!

Did the Cape to Addo safari with a group of friends - it was amazing. Our guide, Debbie, was super. She was really friendly and knowledgeable. The views were really amazing. We saw several parks, stayed mostly along the coast, and saw some animals (not as many as if we had gone to Krueger, but we knew that going into it). Did some nice walks and got to see a lot of different things. I would definitely recommend it.

This was our second time booking through Outlook. The people there are class acts. Every person I have dealt with is knowledgeable and willing to help in anyway possible. We had a limited amount of time and trip they planned for us was AMAZING. I would recommend theSoweto and Apartheid museum tour. They have unbelieveable deals on Safaris. We plan to using Outlook when we return to Africa next year as well. I can't say enough on how much we trust this company.
