Amazing campus! when traveling, we always have to find out the local bookstore and pick up a t shirt. After asking 5 people we finally found it, great selection and prices. I thought we were back in college again. We will wear out Stellenbosch shirts in pride! Keep it up. Pretty campus
Take your walking shoes as you will be exploring on foot. Beautiful spread out campus with well laid out gardens and walkways. Danie Craven stadium has wonderful views onto the mountain range
From the Administratin team, information guiders on the yard with yellow t-shirts to the House mentors, I give them All 11O% for a job well done. They made my visit there and living of my daughter an easy task with convictions that my child is in safe hands
Go take a stroll in the streets of Stellenbosch if you are in the area. I would suggest going around April or September. During holidays it can be a ghost town so don't expect too much atmosphere then.
Architecture that is stunning. Please note tripadvisor, this is not a place to dislike. Please do not prompt me to be negative. It's stunning.
Completely integrated with the town (apart from the medical campus which is in Bellville, Cape Town), this University has an excellent reputation and is housed in many fine buildings.
Lovely town with a nice university. If you do not see it, do not worry. We drove all around the campus and saw the important buildings, some dorms and the athletic field where events were taking place. What was nice was going to the town and seeing all the cafes where the students hang out.
I've been emailing different universities and colleges to get specific information about my eligibility for a BSc, and Stellenbosch is the ONLY one that has responded, and their response was on the same day.So thanks to a great staff
Beautiful campus, many programs. Very inviting to international students from outside South Africa. Community service programs available, and much needed.
A beautiful town. I wish I went to school here. The setting is beautiful, felt like I was in the Alps. Went for a guided tour of 4 wineries. A day well spent!
Old buildings well maintained, beautifully lit at night. Great buzz with all the young students around.
More than just the University, it's a Lovely town full of beautiful architecture, wonderful restaurants and shopping.
I've come to the own created conclusion that the older part of Stellenbosch town is all university. Most of the buildings are part of the university, whether being campuses, living quarters or activity centers. All the buildings are equally well kept and range from modern to the old ones that are so pleasing to the eye. It is lovely to see students walk from one place to the next and cycle further distances. It definitely is one of the most beautiful universities in the country, even if it is built "piece by piece".
This is a visually pleasing hotel set in an old world village. The first church built in SA was there and you can see the 300 year old foundations. At the Uni I saw a Norfolk Island Pine planted in 1828 which is the largest of that kind I have seen.
we had a hockey tournament and the facilities were great! Spacious and clean! Excellent field conditions
