This desert trip had it all, a jeep safari, camel rides, horseriding, dune buggy's, tea at a fascinating Bedouin village, demonstartions of bedouin arts, crafts and cooking, a delicious bbq dinner, a folklore show and stargazing through giant telescopes. A great value desert adventure.

Trips into the deserts are very interesting, you can see real life of Bedouins, how they cook, how they get a water, how they cook,...Plus you can try to ride a camel

If you like adventurous trips-you will definitely enjoy this one. Safari tour- while visiting the Bedouin village-is one of the most interesting activities while in Hurghada (Also ask Medoo at Bon Voyage Tour in Hurghada -the best price for this trip). I recommend you to give it a try.You wont regret this one ;)

You can make a safari tour but do safari as super safari to feel the desert. Otherwise it just like riding a car. Good thing to visit a Bedouin village and see their life.

went for a 3hr quad bike ride out into the desert and worth every penny, 60kph over rough ground is a good bum rush, and when you stop just listen to the silence it hurts your ears

We found them on TripAdvisor and book with them. Wonderful experience. The drive was fantastic. It was interesting to meet Beduins, it was also possible to see how they bake a bread by Beudin woman, how they find water,..Quads were great, only down side was wind, give us hard time! Short camel ride was also adventure.

We took a safari trip and drove into the middle of the desert in a jeep! The drive was fab! Not for the fain hearted - driving at speed and speeding up a desert dune at 100 km/hr and crashing down on the soft sands! We reached this remote mountainous area where time has stood still. A young girl baking bread in a traditional oven and tasted delicious! Would have been fantastic to spend the night star gazing! A fantastic experience!

If this is about desert - this is also about people who lives there - beduins. Wonderfull story about life in desert and their customs. Extremly nice vews of mountains and endless sands. Better to get moto safary to see it.

Our trip to the desert required taking 4x4 buses into the middle of nowhere. We got on to ATVs for a quick and fun ride, then camels, then a bit of throwing ourselves down a dune of the softest sand. Loved it

we booked this tour through Travel Trend a rep at the Hilton plaza .Collected by jeep then taken into the dessert great 4x4 driver and guide. We where shown a mirage and told how it is caused. Then a further driver to a quad bike station and Bedouin village.Quad bikes for 40 min either a fast group or slow group GREAT FUN Then it's 15 min in a spider car ( dune buggy ) then a roll lunch Then a camel ride Then a look around a village then a little hill climb great fun Then a little walk to the entertainment and a BBQ type meal was ok but was nervous eating out of hotel but food was well prepared.Entertainment was a but naff. But not our type. Then a look at the stars through telescope in a clear sky Then the drive back across the dessert in the dark wow was fun and the driver kept switching the 4x4 lights off pitch black. Yesssssss Not for anyone with a bad back or pregnant You have to do this tour 6 hours of pleasure

Spent a good 8 hours visiting the Eastern desert. Went to the typical touristy Oasis place in the desert to be charged £4 for a scarf to protect you from the desert sun. Reluctantly I bought one and they put it around my head and transferred me into Laurence of Arabia. I was reluctant to move it all day. You had the option to drive a sand buggie or Quad in the desert. Not my kind of thing as I dont like man made machines needlessly polluting a natural habitat , but if you like that thing it will be an experience and we were driven 30km into the desert by a jeep. The guide we had was excellent and he showed us a mirage. we knelt down and looked into the horizon and there was a beutiful oasis, an optical illusion well worth seeing. He took us to a Bedouin village and we mixed with the locals and had the obligatory camel ride, reminded me of a ride on a donkey on Blackpool beach a long time ago and gave me the same enjoyment for about five mins. The highlight of the tour was experiencing the desert, the mountains are stark and bleak and the landscape like a lunar landscape, not that I have been on the moon. It was well worth the visit and as the sun started to set, it dissapeared rapidly behind the mountains, what a lovely site. Back to the oasis village for some food and a belly dancer and whirling dervisher show. The day finished off with some stargazing and a lesson in Astrology from our lovely guide. We loved our day out.
