This is an easy walk up to the top for a great view in all directions. There are informational boards along the way and at the top that are worth reading. We must preserve our parks and these magnificent animals.
It's a great place to relax and soak in the beauty of the park and Mt. Kilimanjaro. Stunning sunset views too.
Slight climb but worth it for the views of Amboselli from on high with great sunsets and sunrises in particular - a must see if you visit the park
Mystical place with magnificent view of mt Kilimanjaro, plenty of elephants with numerous view of wild animals and interaction with masaais
From the hill, you not only get wonderful views of the Park, but the animals are very close by. I saw the first hippo of my trip from Observation Hill along with a family of elephants eating the tall grass. A herd of zebras also visited us while we were up there. And you get to check out the wide array of bird life. And of course there is Mt. Kilimanjaro!
You can have a packed lunch to eat at the observation hill. Really liked the informative banners put around as they give lots of facts and
Good spot to take it all in, full 360 degree panoramic view. A must if you are in the area. Good opportunity for landscape photos
We headed here for our lunch on our game drive for a welcome bit of shade! It's not a difficult climb by any means, there's useful info on the boards on the way up and at the areas at the top.You get a great view of the wetlands and river below and some birds will probably say hello to you if you've got some food with you. It's definitely worth a visit to see the park from a different angle.
This little promontory is uniquely located to view the watery ecosystem of Amboseli N.P. From this vantage point one can see the farthest reaches of the elephants' playground, from dry plains to marshlands. Worth the easy climb up the hill.
What a stunning view. Difficult to describe just how amazing this was! We had Sundowners up here and this made it very special.
Wow, wow, wow what views, it was a good walk up to the top but so worth it for the amazing views and we got to see a hippo, views went on for miles
This observation post in the heart of the Amboseli is well worth a visit. Nestled on a small hill, you get a wonderr view of the whole park. From the rolling plains and wild animals,to the mighty Mt Kilimanjaro. The view is breathtaking. However the show stopper is the African sunset in the Bush. As you sip sundowners and watch the sky turn various shades of pink, red and orange, and finally go down. It's a sight to behold.A must visit in Amboseli. Happy Holidays.
Once at the top of the hill you have a breathtaking view of the entire park. This is a must visit! Kudos to the Kenya Wildlife service for the very well maintained washrooms right at the bottom of the hill.
