It's definitely worth visiting the top of the KICC at least once--its a fun little adventure and the fountains outside are beautiful as well. Be prepared to pay a bit of cash to take the elevator to the top.
I liked the monument of our 1st president of Kenya the tough talking president Mzee Jomo Kenyatta. took good pictures and went singing inside the small hut like. the tall building is really tall and one asks who the architects were. just a good Kenya symbol of Nairobi the capital city of Kenya.
The kenyatta international conference centre is the most beautiful and among the tallest buildings in the Nairobi Central Business District.
We were here for social network group activity and though most our members were very impressed especially the foreigners, i personally felt the place in some of the days it was over crowded. Apart from that, everything else was fairly good.
We were here for a conference with United Nations, but after we finished we were treated to the view on top and I must admit it was a view from heaven, it was delightful it was a beautiful to see Nairobi rising from the roof. I would highly recommend it.
Spent ah hour just admiring the facility and particularly enjoyed the helipad, first time on one and the view from there was spectacular. Worth putting on the bucket list.
The environment is good for exhibitions and conference, the facility has been refurbished and looks good and its within the city centre therefore if you want to walk around in the evening it is surrounding by all manner of attractions
Very approachable place with friendly and alert security staff who put you at eae as you stroll outon a late Sunday morning to relax before staring a weeks work,
I had a conference at the Convention Center. It was a very good experience. The facilities at the International Convention center was very good. It was a summit on Economics in Africa
Go to the roof top for a spectacular view!! The only thing that I didn't like was the Samsun banner wrapped around the building!!
it is nice!it is high!it is very view!go there, not for longer than 15 minutes!it is sunny or windy or rainy?do not care!It is a spot to see!do not give more than 200Ksh to the insistent guide! take pictures! and send me one!you can see where the blow-up of american embassy was! not very nice image!then go to masaai market@ try to be a shopeeer@ they make you all the way! goooooooood luck!
It was a great location. We stayed at the InterCon so it was a short walk to to and fro. There was a good cafe serving good cafe food and great Kenyan Coffee. If you are exhibiting then the caffeine supply is well taken care of. The conference Hall one level down is well maintained. The foyer was a good place to network between papers. There was also a money changer which was convenient.
The Roof of Africa these Mountains are among the 25 most important "biodiversity hotspots" in the world for the conservation of animals and plants. The "Hotspot" analysis recognises concentrations of species
you cant leave without a visit to the helipad, you are able to see most buildings in the CBD, the view from up there is great.
Atop the KICC tower you get a 360 degree view of Nairobi and threads of Tanzania and Kilimanjaro!! Do not forget to carry a camera which can capture 360 degree view and panoramic view! Its windy, beautiful and surreal.
