aero club of east africa

For those who like cool place with sports and music this is the place to be. It is one stop for all who like a drink.I liked their deco.

If you must spend a night near the Wilson airport (early flight the next morning, etc.) this is the place to do it. Very comfortable, vintage airport club -- with dark woods, stuffed upholstered chairs and a bar. You'd expect to see Hemingway here. The food is good and sitting out on the patio is refreshing. I've stayed here several times and I'll be back.

For anyone with a history thirst, for aviation or just East Africa, the Aero Club takes you back. Great ambience!

I don't know how busy things are at this place usually but from the looks of it normally quite quiet since they looked very very rushed. I've got to say these guys do some beautiful burgers, i went for a chicken beautifully seasoned and perfectly cooked .

I stayed here so that I was ready to catch my flight from Wilson. The room was seriously scruffy and the shower room was almost squalid with no hot water. The lighting in the room was woefully dim. Definitely won't be staying there again despite the convenience.

Nice colonial atmosphere... with a good menu and refreshing beers.. Many items of the past to revisit aviation in Africa in the simple old days!!

Excellent place to watch local flights take off and land. The food is perfects and ambiance is cool.Ideal for quick business meetings

This is a nice quiet little spot by Wilson Airport. good food, good beer and great service. Breakfast here is particularly good.

You need membership to access certain services. Lunch is open to non members. The food is well prepared and nice. Other services include accommodation, small swimming pool and a pub

I used to virtually live here! So it feels like home. If you like flying or passionate about aviation this is a wonderful place to visit. Great history, great stories and you can meet some amazing people.The restaurant has been upgraded and they serve up some pretty good food.Rooms are also available for rent, which makes it convenient if you are flying out of Wilson.A must, if you like planes (and don't mind the odd Tusker).

Very fun club right at Wilson Airport, feels very much like old Kenya..Lovely garden, airplane history, bar, gift shop and pool. I understand you can even get a room overnight if you have an early flight..We ate here 2 times, and both times it was excellent..Great spot to hang before a flight to the bush.

I really enjoyed my time at the Aero Club, it's not everyday you get to bite into a burger as a plane takes off right in front of your nose. The decor takes you back to colonial Africa times and gives you a feel of exploration. I'd recommend this as a nice place to meet for drinks and dinner.

The aero club is a nice place for a drink or lunch in between flights. People who own their own plane, stay the night or come in for a quick coffee. Good food, nice staff and you get a bit of the feel of the old Kenyan days when Kenya was especially about safaris. Great place to stop by in between your flights.

Good hearty food. Noisy during the day since it's adjacent to a busy runway. Clean toilets, above average service. Non-members not allowed to sit at the bar. No TV to watch football on weekends is a big shame

Stopped by for breakfast not long ago and was amazed by the friendless of the place and the food was great too. This is a good place for local to catch up and share a meal and a drink, stop by if you are in the area. Enjoy!
